	South & Western General Agency, Inc. was founded in 1974 by Foremost Insurance Company. The agency specialized in writing mobile homes and RV's exclusively for Foremost. Purchased in 1981 by former Foremost Vice-President John Horan, Sr, South & Western has evolved into a multi-line general agency offering both personal and commercial lines on a specialty and standard basis. As an active member of the AAMGA, NAPSLO, TSLA, associate member of IIAT, and industry member of FIWT we are knowledgeable, involved and dedicated to the industry. We have created many exclusive strategic partnerships with nationally known A.M. Best "A" rated companies allowing us to provide the best possible products and services.

Headquartered in Addison, Texas (a Dallas suburb) in a new 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art building which the company developed and owns, South & Western employs approximately 70 insurance professionals. Our personnel provide understanding and insight in servicing your needs. They have been recruited from all segments of the insurance industry: standard companies, specialty markets, retail agencies, and other general agents. Our management team boasts a combined total of over 150 years in insurance management experience and is prepared to assist you when needed.

Today South & Western is one of the largest general agencies in Texas and has expanded into the State of Oklahoma. We are a service driven organization, progressive in our thinking, and positioned to evolve with our rapidly changing industry. We believe that our industry will look significantly different in the new millennium, however, our core values of STABILITY, SERVICE and QUALITY will remain the same.
